CMAP 2040 Visualizations

With the adoption of the GO TO 2040 Plan, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has embarked on the task of implementing the comprehensive plan for the Chicagoland region. GINKGO was asked to create images that illustrate the main themes and principles of the Plan. The images include capitol improvement projects such as the CTA Red Line and IL Route 53 extensions, 3D visualizations of sustainable principles such as water and energy conservation and the importance of locally grown food. They depict issues of governance and government transparency, investment in education and transportation. Making our communities more livable and creating a sense of place across our region.
